Porcelain Crowns and Porcelain Bridges

Decayed and damaged teeth can be painful. They can leave the sensitive root exposed while their appearance can be embarassing. We can restore your beautiful smile with porcelain crowns and bridges.

Porcelain crowns and bridges are appropriate for heavily decayed and/or fractured teeth. If there's not enough structure left for a filling, onlay, or inlay, then a crown is needed to restore the tooth. Crowns fit over the remaining portion of tooth, allowing you to chew and use the tooth just like your other healthy teeth again. Bridges function similarly to crowns but are designed to cover two or more teeth.

A full porcelain bridge or crown mimics nature because it has the same light-reflecting qualities that natural teeth have. The result is a crown or bridge that looks and feels like a real tooth.

Full porcelain crowns are different than the style of porcelain crowns with a metal core, which do not reflect light and may look too opaque or have dark edges at the gumline. Unlike the gold or metal crowns of the past, people won't be distracted by your crowns when you smile. We'll work with your natural mouth structure to create a smile that looks like you were born with it.

If you're ready to restore your smile and have the confidence to laugh out loud once again, request a free consultation. We'll come up with a plan that will have you looking and feeling great again.
